Virtually a cult wine in this shop - the 2007 was incredibly popular. The 2008 is a touch lighter, but still shows the light, fragrant elegance typical of Von Buhl's Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir).

Very pale almost like a dark rose. The slightly tawneying colour showing development.
Wow this is only 3 years old and yet has many chracteristics of an aged Burgundy, thogh this wine has it's roots firmly planted in Germany.
Nose of Cherry tobacco, thyme and hint of walnuts developng once it's been opened for a while. Morello Chery on the palette contributes to a complex character with a hint of vegital creeping in.
My advice is to decant it to aerate if and leave for an hour to release its nuances.
