Chateauneuf-du-Pape 'La Guigasse'

From a small producer with excellent vineyard sites, 'La Guigasse' is a cuvee with 100% Grenache grown on sandy soil. Matured without any stems in larger oak demi-muids, this is a fantastic example of broad CdP red. A medley of luscious red fruits like black cherry and wild raspberry  will greet the nose, whilst the finish holds a judicious spicy edge of anise and cinnamon.
