This is a relatively rich style of tawny, full, smooth and rounded on the finish. A blend of 1, 4, 7, and 8 year old wines, and aged in the Douro rather than Vila Nova de Gaia. It can sometimes be a disadvantage, but not in this case. Opulent and concentrated, excellent red fruit.
