White Cuvee

Kakheti is in a huge fertile valley stretching to Azerbaijan and the Caspian Sea. While this winery normally only uses clay vessels, this is made in steel only, with ageing on lees providing some texture. A pretty glorious style, with crisp acidity, sweet pear leading to ripe, dried stone fruits, and a slightly golden, savoury finish. A lot of satisfaction for the money.
