We have a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive manager to lead a key North London location in the heart of Primrose Hill. Having called Primrose Hill home for over 10 years, we’ve become a much-loved destination for wine lovers in North London with our eclectic and ever-changing range. We’re looking for a strong retail manager to continue and drive our growth in this iconic area. 

There will be a key focus on previous experience growing sales, proven management of teams of up to 5 people, experience managing stock, and ability to work seamlessly with others. Candidates must be able to develop strong relationships with our existing customers while attracting and retaining new ones. They should have a professional attitude, undeniaable commercial awareness and impeccable attention to detail wile working in a fast-faced environment.

Established in 2009, Bottle Apostle is a London-based wine group with four locations across the city; Victoria Park Village, Crouch End Park Road, Clapham Abbeville Village and Primrose Hill. Our award-winning range consists of over 1,000 wines, craft beers, sakés, and artisan spirits. 

Key Requirements: 

• An energetic team player who is eager to jump into the role and drive an established shop forward 

• Excellent communication and customer service skills both in-person and written

• Extremely well organised with an attention to detail 

• Excellent time management skills 

• Exceptional IT, numeracy and reporting skills 

• WSET level 3 preferred 

• Previous wine retail experience is essential 

• Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends is essential 

• Proven ability to organise and host customer tastings from planning to execution stages. 

• Ability to repeatedly lift 20kg
