Bottle Apostle, Primrose Hill

Located right on Regent’s Park Road, Primrose Hill will be home to our fourth Bottle Apostle wine shop in July 2015. The area needs no introduction, and we’re thrilled to be part of yet another London community driven by thriving independent businesses. As always, we'll strive to bring an eclectic selection of wines with the same degree of informative service paired with a friendly, approachable environment. Like our other locations we will always have 16 wines to sample at any time using our unique Enomatic tasting machines, and a wide range of unmissable events to attend.

Maria's love for wine began when sharing good Falanghina and Greco with friends at university. After graduating in "Chinese studies" she moved from Italy to Beijing and then to London where she started to work in a tea company. After running many tea tastings she decided to get her WSET certifications and live fully the world of wine. Her favourites are big Amarone and Portuguese white wines.

Always fascinated by wine, while Annalisa was studying philosophy at the University of Milano and writing and journalism at the Theater and Music School, she obtained her diploma at the Associazione Italiana Sommelier, specialising in spirits and enology. From working at fine-dining and Michelin-starred restaurants, to education and events with AIS, she shares her love of austere and elegant Barolo and Bourgogne, small production wines from the islands of Santorini, Madeira and Lanzarote, and daring and innovative orange wines from Slovenia and Georgia.
