Cabernet is King?

Is Cabernet Sauvignon the King of the Grapes? 

As the most widely planted grape variety in the world, typically full bodied, bold, structured, complex and age worthy, Cabernet Sauvignon flourishes anywhere warm enough to ripen it. 

We will start the night in its spiritual home, Bordeaux, and from there we will taste our way around the world where winemakers have been inspired to create their own take on it and we can see how Cabernet Sauvignon has been adapted and has embraced the various climates where it thrives. There will be power from Napa, elegance from Australia and ripe exuberance from Chile to name but a few of the styles we will see on the night. 

Light nibbles from our local partners will be served alongside the wines.
