Perhaps one of the most misunderstood grape varieties, Riesling is responsible for some of the greatest white wines ever made, and rightly has its place alongside the likes of white Burgundy as one of the world's best, and like Chardonnay, it's one of the most diverse. With its naturally high acidity and expressive aromatics, it's one of the most versatile for food pairing.
