Inside the Glass: Tasting with Confidence (Part 1)

Our introductory session focuses on how wines taste different, without getting too hung up on the technical reasons why. We'll try a range of styles to get you familiar with common wine terminology. Expect to taste the differences between dry, oaky, sweet, rich and bottle aged wines. By the end of the session, you should have gained greater insight into your own likes and dislikes and be able to communicate those preferences with confidence when buying. More generally you should have an introduction into the world of wine tasting and have gained some key skills and knowledge to employ at other events. This is a great way to brush up on your wine skills for 2026!
