Mastering Classics: Red Burgundy

Tonight we're celebrating Burgundian Pinot Noir. A mystifying grape variety, and its origin in Burgundy is arguably the best expression of its complexity and nuance. But which expression are we talking about? The delicate fruit-driven wines from Mercurey or the more robust, powerful and age-worthy styles from Gevrey-Chambertin and the other Cote d'Or villages?

We will explore the legendary terroirs and history of Burgundy through arguably the world's most coveted grape variety.
