20 yo Armagnac

Whilst not one of Bas-Armagnac's big producers, Delord is undeniably one of the premier makers of fine Armagnacs because they distil at a higher proof to give a nutty complexity to their spirit. After distilling a blend of wines from three grape varieties to 60 degrees, this Armagnac was then aged for 20 years to allow aromas and flavours to fully develop its complex rancio character. Stupendously long on the finish, it has lovely notes of dusty baking spices, walnut, prune, orange, muscovado sugar, orange zest, and pipe tobacco.
