Akashi Japanese Blended Whisky Sherry Cask

From a Japanese distillery making whisky since 1919 comes this blended whisky with a solid 30% of the mash is malted barley, giving this whisky more breadth of flavour than other Japanese grain-focused whiskies. Initially matured in ex-American bourbon oak to allow vanilla and fresh orchard fruit flavours to mature, it was finished in sherry casks to give it an additional dimension of raisins, plum, and dried fig.
