Calvados XO 8 years old

From a family of distillers dating back to 1921 comes this excellent XO Calvados from the Pays d'Auge AOC. Distilled from a cider made from 35 apple varieties, the brandy is then aged for 8 years in casks to smooth out its profile and allow its wonderful flavours to a full maturation. A very fine Calvados of great depth and complexity, it offers notes of pear, damson, prune, muscovado sugar, with a splash of honey on the finish.
