One of the premium bourbons from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, it has been matured for 6 to 10 years in the choicest of spots in old rickhouses proven to mature top class spirit. Whilst it has the same low-rye mashbill as the Eagle Rare 10, this bourbon has more richness, depth, texture, and length on the finish with its punchy 100 proof strength. A whiskey that makes a great impression with its intensity of flavours of caramelised apple, dusty oak, honey, corn husk, cinnamon, Madagascan vanilla and fresh cherry.
