Mezcal Joven

This beautiful Doba-yej (ancient Zapotec word for Espadin Agave) is the only one in the Los Siete Misterios lineup to undergo copper pot distillation. The agaves are cooked in earth oven pits and the fermentation take place naturally using wild indigenous yeast. Floral, mineral and herbaceous aromas with a smoky flavour of ripe berries and a creamy yet balanced character. Great to enjoy on its own but versatile for cocktail making.
