Michter's US*1 Small Batch Sour Mash


Similar to a Borubon but with a higher proportion of rye. This is made using small amounts of previously fermented mash to start the new fermentation. A nice sweetness on the nose but with a more pronounced peppery spice from the rye along with sweet smoky fruit. Starts out like a Bourbon, finishs like a rye.
