Rhum Vieux Agricole J.M XO

One of the leading distilleries of Martinique, Rhum J.M crush the sugar cane to extract the juice before distilling in Charentais copper stills. Matured in ex-Bourbon oak for 6 years in the tropics for accelerated ageing, the XO is stunnigly complex and the textbook example of a sipping agricole rum. The nose and palate are stunning, featuring a combination of quince paste, candied orange, golden dried fruit, vanilla, white pepper, and a very light textbook grassiness on the finish.
