Sound of Sleat

Torabhaig Distillery

Separating the Isle of Skye from the mainland is the Sound of Sleat, or Linne Shlèite in Gaelic, a strip of sea inspiring the fourth chapter of the Torabhaig series, a showcase of the saline nature of Skye and the lean but powerful whiskies produced there. Matured exclusively in first fill American oak and bottled without chill-filtration or colouring, making for an expressive nose of wild yellow fruits, citrus orange peels, smoked hay alongside smoke seaweed, and a rich bonfire-like palate ending on the warming embers of a beach fire.
