Vieux Marc de Chateauneuf-du-Pape

From the legendary Famille Brunier of Domaine de Vieux Telegraphe in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, this wonderful unfiltered Marc is distilled in a traditional Burgundy style three-stage copper pot still and spent a minimum of 10 years in oak, even if Henri Brunier himself promised it is at least 12 years. Pepper, toasted wood, deep smokey notes and tobacco to complement delicate vanilla, raisins and chocolate flavours. Great after dinner, with a coffee or a cigar. Power marries finesse.
