Barolo Le Coste di Monforte

Sourced from a high elevation south-east facing site, this wine shows a higher proportion of limestone and mineral structure. A combintation of stainless steel and old oak helps temper the a powerful structure with notes of white pepper, red cherry and tobacco showing an explosive nose. Carved tannins really set up this wine for some additional long-term ageing.
