Minimal intervention winemaking that highlights the volcanic soils of Oregon, the Big Salt "Orange Rose" is a proper orange wine. The wine has salinity but isn't as fresh as you might expect. It has the classic lychee, turkish delight of Gewurztraminer but also has hibiscus, ginger from Pinot Gris and muscat brings some weight. A big tannic finish will please those who love an orange wine.
