Chardonnay Fort Ross-Seaview

Wayfarer is organically farmed with vines planted in 2002 on famed Goldrige soil, perched just above the fogline, 4 miles from the coast. This 2022 is an 11 acre block selection from their 30 acre vineyard. Malolactic fermentation in barrel with battonage, and then aged for 15 months in French oak barrels. 50% new. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Full bodied. White peach, nectarine, lemon curd, quince and pear accented with honeysuckle and toasted hazelnut.
