Opulent and powerful from the first of a trio of fantastic vintages. Plush blackberry and plum interweave with dark chocolate and vanilla bean. Full and silky in texture with clay-like density of tannins that match the ample level of fruit from this generous vintage. Careful management in the vineyard has led to a wine with acidity on point, and alcohol levels that are well handled. Drink now or hold over the next 5-8 years.
