Richly toasted with all emcompassing fruit of baked plums infused with cherry/pomegranate syrup. The depth of fruit is kept in check with a lovely herbal quality and wrapped together with a creamy coffee-like texture thanks to over 30 months aging in used barrels. This wine represents the very best of the winery and an excellent example of the heights that Gran Selezione can reach when carefully managed on higher altitude sites.
