Chinuri

Iago only grows Chinuri, one of Georgia's indigenous varietals, in his vinyeards in eastern Georgia. Six months maceration gives the wine a fantastic amber hue, then we get very appealing aromas of baked apples, almonds, and nutmeg. The palate has some nice richness to it, with additional notes of orange zest and Armagnac-soaked currants. Definitely a conversation starter. |nc| |V|
