Condrieu Verlieu

From Yves Cuileron's Lieu-dit range, this is a Condrieu that unlike the rest of them, is designed for ageing, but is also delicious to drink right now. if you like rich, oaky chardonnays, this would defintely be a fun one to try. Steep slopes with biotite granite, 18 months of ageing in large, Demi Muid oak barrels, this has mineral freshness, purity of fruit with citrus and stone fruit and peach melba rouned off with butterscotch and buttered honey toast. Viognier at its best.
