Cote-Rotie Bonnivieres

Yves Cuilleron's vineyard for this wine lies in the Ampuis commune on the Cote Brune in the heart of Cote-Rotie. Steep slopes and terraces with schist soils, this is a style of wine for those like it more powerful and dense. It has finesse and weight, punctuated with deep and dark fruit showing remarkable purity and concentration and the tannins are ripe and fine grained. There is a touch of Viognier too in the blend, about 2-3% for a bit of freshness.
