Cremant de Bourgogne 'JCB' No. 21

Jean-Charles Boisset

A well-made, dry, expressive, reasonably rich cremant with quite a concentrated, youthful lees core, decent acid. Not showing its black fruit as much as one would expect, with honey and bitter white flesh, and nice brightness to finish. Grapes from Macon (Chardonnay and Gamay) and the Cote d'Or (Pinot and Aligote).
