Elizabeth Cellar Aged Semillon

Mount Pleasant

A cuvee first made in the 1950s to celebrate the late Queen Elizabeth's first visit to Australia, this is classic Hunter Valley semillon with a touch of age to it. Lively and fresh citrussy acidity balanced with a waxy creaminess with flavours of green apple, hay and vanilla. The wine is aged for 5 years in the cellars at Mount Pleasant before release, so the wine is at perfect maturity and while you could put it down for a few more years, you don't need to if you can resist reaching for another bottle.
