Eola-Amity Hills Chardonnay

From a plot planted on volcanic soils, this has everything you'd want from the style: ripe orchard fruit, delicate tropical notes, a custardy richness on the palate and smoky, spicy oak that never threatens to take over. All this is anchored by electric acidity and a dash of salinity, resulting in a wine that's incredibly hard not to like. Will age wonderfully if you can resist its current charms.
