From the relatively modest, for California, AVA of Sta. Rita Hills comes this excellent example of new wave American Chardonnay. Though completely aged in a variety of oak barrels this is all about finesse over power. On the nose there is peach blossom and marzipan whilst the palate is more toasty with zesty acidity and a long persistant finish.
