Gary's Vineyard Blewitt Springs Grenache

An Aussie Grenache but not what you would expect. The soils are ironstone with sand and gravel and there is just under 6 months ageing in sandstone amphora. The result is a wine that is soft, pale, herbal with notes of thyme, and energetic with delicate wild strawberry and fresh red cherries. There is some grip from the tannins but it is gentle and they become a lot softer with a touch of air. An exciting wine from a Grenache fanatic.
