Serious, sophisticated Gigondas. Dark, with a wealth of black fruits, dark cherry liqueur, tapenade and subtle herb notes wafting from the glass. It's still a little tight though, and will improve over the coming years. The freshness belies its 15% alcohol. Impressive.
