KC2 Chardonnay

The KC stands for Kit's Coty, a vineyard in the North Downs of Kent, well known for its chalk and flint soils, the influence of which Whitewolfe have successfully shown in this wine. There is racy acidity with fresh citrus and ripe stone fruit too, a touch of smoky gunflint with some creamy oak roudning it off. It's old oak and second fill from Burgundy so it isn't overpowering. This is a top wine that is going somewhat under the radar. maybe not for much longer. |NC|V|
