Magdeleine Bouhou 'La Traverse'

From Chateau Puynard's sister winery in Blaye, La Traverse has a glowing and varied aroma, making excellent use of the vineyard's younger, non-traditional plantings. The Roussanne helps bring depth of colour, a little robustness to the mid-palate, and some persistent white petal perfume. A nicely judged blend, long, with subtle spice and zip through the finish. |O|
