Langhe Freisa Valle dei Salici

This delicious Freisa comes from a vineyard near Barbaresco. Careful destemming and maceration then aged in stainless steel has this wine showing youthful and juicy red fruits. Ripe raspberries, plums, cranberries and even a hint of violet express across the nose and palate, then its Nebbiolo like tannins and balanced acidity lend to the wines very good structure and finish. Excellent to enjoy now but will age beautifully.
