Le Rocher des Violettes
From Montlouis, but bottled as a Vin de France. This is pretty impressive, with good fruit depth, notable purity, and a light but broad, balanced palate. Planted in 2011 with Pinot vines massale selected from Clos des Epeneaux. A very safe alternative to Burgundy - delicious.
