Les Caillaux - Bourgogne Aligote'

This is a lively, food-friendly Burgundy white: with fresh fruit, citrus and a hint of honey as the wine opens. Made from Aligoté grown on two parcels at different elevations, The wine is aged for 8 to 10 months in stainless steel tanks rather then oak and undergoes aging on its fine lees (élevage sur lies) with natural malolactic fermentation. Precise and versatile, with good varietal character and a pleasing balance of fruit and acidity.
