Los Perejiles

Seriously up there in quality with some of the big names of Ribera del Duero, Los Perejiles comes from a single vineyard over-100-year-old vines. Aged for 18 months in new oak barrels, it's full-on in depth, with flavours of blackberry jam and redcurrant, then floral and herbal overtones.  But really it's all about the finesse.  Serve in a large, wide glass and take your time with it. |O|
