Elegant and a touch shy on opening compared to Vincent's Santenay. Don't be fooled though, this wine opens beautifully with supple cherry and wild strawberry emerging with a spin of the glass. Classic mushroom aromas linger with a light frame of tannins that bulid slowly. It's rare to find this restrained style of Maranges, which can often show too much too early.
