Marsannay 'Saint-Urbain'

With good value reds from the Cote de Nuits getting rare, we were pleased to find this wine as it holds good complexity for the price. A beguiling perfume of dark cherry and redcurrants meets the nose, whilst the palate is balanced and poised with earthiness and tart cranberry. Laurent Fournier won the young winemaker of the year in 2011 and his talent clearly shows in this wine. |O|
