Muscadet Clos des Choffardiere

The Famille Heraud have been making wine in Nantais for 5 generations, and are part of a new focus in the region, particularly on good quality Muscadet. This iteration has great focus and purity. It is lean, fresh and minerally, thanks to the granitic soils on which the vines grow. This is balanced pure citrus and green apple fruit and rounded off with a touch of lees ageing, giving a slight creamy texture and toasty flavours. One to enjoy in the sunshine with a bucket of mussels.
