Muscadet Mellarium

The Famille Heraud have been making wine in Nantais for 5 generations, and are part of a new focus in the region, particularly on good quality Muscadet. The Mellarium is a richer style, grown on denser, mineral-rich soils. There is core of candied citrus acidity, enveloped by riper apple flavours and more lees age, making this a fun alternative to Chablis or something from the Maconnais.
