The junior red from top Dao winery Quinta dos Roques and typical local blend dominated by Jean (aka Mencia in Spain). Here it's giving quite deep colour, balanced but vibrant acidity, a layered savoury character beyond its modest price, and there's a boost of concentrated fruit from the more expressive Touriga. |V|
