Rinconada Vineyard - Sta. Rita hills

A single vineyard offering from the Sandhi stable with the chardonnay grapes coming from a vineyard right next to the famed Sandford & Benedict. Precise, with a lovely mineral and acid core with hints of oak and citrus blossom and wet stones. The palate is fat and creamy but balanced with tart green apple and lemon curd. There's elegance and excitement in the wine which will also age well for another decade, easily.
