Saint Joseph Blanc 'Lyseras'

A great wine from the Yves Cuilleron stable. It is a 50/50 blend of Marsanne and Roussanne from vines in the north of the appellation that spends 9 months in a mix of barriques and foudre oak barrels. The resulting wine is deep yellow in colour with aromas of ripe peaches, cream and honey and is rich with an unctuous mouthfeel, but with a core of fresh citrus acidity. This is a great value alternative for those looking for white hermitage.
