The Ciolli family own 5 hectares of vineyards east of Rome in Lazio and use organic and natural methods. Silene was named after a wildflower, very common in their vineyards and it is aged in concrete vats for 1 year. Quite lifted savoury soft fruit and soft tannins with an elegant body and good length.
