Classically structured, Smith-Madrone give us an elegant, age-worthy Napa Cabernet from the steep slopes of Spring Mountain. A wonderfully layered wine, notes of cassis and cedar, backed up with some spice and a mineral edge. Silky tannins on the palate, with a refreshing acidity underpinning. Potential to cellar beautifully for years, yet enjoyable now if you can't wait that long.
