Syrah Les Candives

Another from Yves Cuilleron's stable of great wines from the Northern Rhone. This is a blend of wines from a variety of different vineyards showing the best of the granitic soils from around Saint-Joseph. The result is a bright lifted style of wine with ripe and juicy bramble fruits, a touch of herbal garrigue and a nice cracked black pepper finish. It's not a smooth wine, but will go great with some grilled meats from the BBQ!
